New settlement model for the alloy surcharge - long products
The mills have yielded to the wish that the alloy surcharge should reflect the current price situation for the surcharge elements.
Consequently, the period in which the surcharge elements influence the alloy surcharge has been changed to take effect as from 1 June 2009.
After this date, the current average will be reduced from 2 months to 1 month.
The same settlement model is now used for plates and long products.
